Project Background
Design Summary Statement

“The overarching aim of the project is looking at the changing hydrology of Brisbane's CBD using Wheat Creek as a focal point."

DLB440 Group S4

As part of a semester-long project for DLB440 Landscape Construction at QUT Gardens Point, our group has designed a walk through Brisbane to entertain the attendees of the AILA Forecast Festival in October 2014.
The focal point of the walk is our installation, which is a physical art piece that we have designed. We have also constructed a prototype of the installation, the process of which is also outlined as part of this website. The installation is currently being displayed at the entrance to the State Library of Queensland in South Brisbane.
For further information about the walk, our installation and some history about Wheat Creek, please peruse our website, which is also mobile-friendly.
We hope you enjoy our work and let us know your thoughts through our contact / feedback page. We also hope that residents and visitors to Brisbane may stumble upon this website.
